Fly Box Outfitters offers all levels of instruction, from introductory fly fishing to advanced private casting and fly tying courses. To insure that you receive individual attention, we make sure that our class sizes stay at a low student-to-instructor ratio. That way, you can truly receive the full benefit of our courses. Introduction to Fly Fishing This is a beginner's class or refresher class for those anglers who have been away from the sport for a while. The student ratio is a maximum of 5 students per instructor. "Intro to Fly Fishing" is a full day class with equipment, lunch, and book - "Orvis Guide to Fly Fishing" provided. Hands-on instruction is provided in the tailwaters of the Chattahoochee River.

Introduction to Fly Tying Introduction to fly tying is a 2-week class held once a week. Fly Box Outfitters offers you the option of bringing your own equipment or using ours. Equipment selection and usage, material types and quality, and the different types of flies are taught in addition to actual hands-on fly tying. The class is held over 2 weeks to allow students to practice tying outside of class and identify problem areas prior to the next class.
